Plain-language summary

We use website information to respond to packaging inquiries, prepare quotes, coordinate samples and projects, operate the site, and protect the business. We do not ask for payment-card, Social Security, medical, or other highly sensitive personal information through these forms.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Packaging HQ website and forms operated by Packaging HQ LLC. It does not control the privacy practices of outside websites, certification bodies, government agencies, Microsoft Bookings, or other third-party services that you choose to visit.

By using the site, you acknowledge the practices described here. The Terms & Conditions and Website Disclaimer also apply.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect your name, company or brand, email address, phone number, marketing preference, message, product or application details, package format, dimensions, material structure, quantities, timing, artwork count, filling and equipment information, shelf-life objective, production conditions, co-manufacturer information, and other project details you choose to provide.

If you request a quote or samples, you may upload specifications, artwork, photographs, spreadsheets, or other reference files. Do not upload trade secrets, confidential information, regulated personal information, or material that you are not authorized to share unless a written confidentiality agreement with Packaging HQ LLC is already in place.

Information collected automatically

When analytics is enabled, the site or its service providers may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, and interactions with links or forms. The site may also retain the landing page and campaign information such as UTM parameters, gclid, or msclkid in browser session storage and associate it with an inquiry.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from a co-manufacturer, brand partner, supplier, scheduling provider, referral source, or another person involved in a project. Anyone providing information about another person should be authorized to do so.

3. How we use information

Packaging HQ LLC may use information to:

  • Respond to questions and communicate about a request.
  • Evaluate a packaging application, sample request, quote, or potential project.
  • Send optional flexible-packaging guides, product updates, and marketing emails when you request them.
  • Coordinate with a co-manufacturer or other project participant when authorized.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website.
  • Understand how visitors find and use the site.
  • Maintain business records and document communications.
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and property.

Submitting a request does not enroll you in marketing. Marketing enrollment occurs only when you select the separate optional checkbox. You may withdraw that preference at any time without affecting project-related communications.

4. How we share information

We may disclose information to service providers that support website hosting, data storage, file storage, analytics, scheduling, communications, customer relationship management, security, professional advice, and related business operations. These providers may include Cloudflare, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Bookings when the applicable service is enabled or used.

Information may also be disclosed when you authorize coordination with a co-manufacturer or another project participant, as part of a business transaction, to comply with legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect Packaging HQ LLC, its customers, or others.

Packaging HQ LLC does not sell personal information in exchange for money. Analytics providers may process device and usage information under their own terms and privacy practices.

5. Analytics, browser storage, and third-party scheduling

The site may use Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions. Google may set or read cookies and process information about your device and use of the site. You can learn about Google's practices and available controls through Google's information for sites that use its services.

Campaign parameters and the first landing page may be kept in session storage for the current browser session so Packaging HQ can understand how an inquiry reached the site. Browser settings can be used to control cookies and site storage, although disabling them may affect some functionality.

Scheduling links lead to Microsoft Bookings. Information entered there is handled under Microsoft's applicable privacy terms and the scheduling configuration used by Packaging HQ LLC.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, evaluate or manage a business relationship, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention may vary based on the type of record, whether a project proceeds, and applicable requirements. Information that is no longer reasonably necessary may be deleted or de-identified, subject to backup and legal-retention needs.

Packaging HQ LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use the contact information below before sending especially sensitive project information.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in a message or by contacting us. An unsubscribe request does not prevent communications needed to respond to an inquiry, provide requested information, or manage an active business relationship.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. You may also ask questions about how information is used or shared. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

Submit a request to info@packaginghq.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” You may also call 801-306-1066.

8. Other provisions

The site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site.

Packaging HQ LLC operates in the United States. Information may be stored and processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate.
