About Packaging HQ
Packaging HQ supplies flexible packaging and helps brands, production teams, and co-manufacturers turn product and line requirements into one working specification.
What we believe
A package cannot be selected from the product alone. Format, size, material, filling method, equipment, headspace, sealing conditions, distribution, shelf life, graphics and consumer use all influence the answer.
Our job is to help the right people make those decisions together and stay accountable as the project moves from launch through scale.

Founder
Founder, Packaging HQ
Joshua has worked in labels and flexible packaging since 2006, when he and his father acquired a struggling label company and began rebuilding it around better production, service, and customer relationships.
The operation began running stick-pack work in 2007, added wide-web printing and laminating in 2011, and began a major equipment modernization in 2013. That investment included becoming the first non-beta HP Indigo 20000 installation in North America. Joshua served as production manager, sales manager, and general manager as the company grew. After the business was sold to private equity in 2021, he continued as the plant's sales leader and later moved into business development.
His experience spans the full flexible-packaging path - from base films and material structures through printing, lamination, conversion, trials, troubleshooting, and finished packages. He has worked extensively with pet products, nutraceuticals, food and beverage, and confectionery brands.
Joshua founded Packaging HQ to restore the service and accountability that many brands have lost as the domestic packaging market has consolidated. His goal is straightforward: work as a true partner, find packaging solutions that support growth and lower total packaging costs, and stay involved until the solution works in production.

What expertise looks like in practice
These are common diagnostic paths, not one-size-fits-all answers. The next step depends on the product, package, line, and evidence available.
Check density, settling, usable fill area, headspace, zipper and top seal, filling method, and finished shelf presentation before changing dimensions.
Compare hot tack, initiation temperature, contamination, jaw alignment, dwell, pressure, product drop, and cooling before assuming the film is defective.
Test low-temperature flex and impact, ink protection, condensation, abrasion, gauge, and case handling under the actual freezer path.
Let’s solve it together
We’ll help define what the package needs to do, who needs to be involved, and what should happen next.
